FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process of producing liquid products from heavy petroleum residues (straight-run mazut, goudrons, cracking residues, heavy pyrolysis resins, heavy petroleums) in mixture with organomineral additive selected from group consisting of shale oils, sapropelites, and sapromixites, and may be used in oil refining industry. Process is accomplished by thermal cracking of crude feed at elevated temperatures and pressure in presence of activation additive. The latter is preliminarily ground and homogenized in disperser with a part of initial petroleum residue. Amount of activation additive in crude feed constitutes 5-30 wt %.
EFFECT: increased yield of light petroleum products and reduced power consumption.
