FIELD: oil and gas producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for driving well sucker-rod pumps. Proposed pumping unit has base, support post which carries walking beam with hinge-connected head coupled with bearing installed on support post. Additional counter balancing system is made in form of weight connected by flexible member passed over roller unit with polished rod. Said additional counter balancing system is provided with support in form of tube installed on independent foundation inside which weight is suspended for movement. Hatch is provided in side surface of tube at weight level, and relief device is installed higher than extreme lower point of weight travel. Support of additional counter balancing system is arranged in one plane with polished rod square to axis of pumping unit. Roller unit consists of three rollers arranged at angle of 90° relative to each other.

EFFECT: possibility of examination of well by dynamometering, carry out underground repair of deep well equipment without demounting of additional counter balancing system, improved reliability of flexible member.
