FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying maximum permissible spinal cord decompression by means of laminectomy, and maximum accessible injured segments zone stabilization is carried out. Then, ice depot is created in decompression window of a vertebra subjected to laminectomy on dura mater and bilaterally with respect to it and on two vertebrae available above and below the vertebra and on both sides of spinal processes. The depot is built by placing ice pieces of frozen Furacilin or physiologic saline.
EFFECT: reduced oxygen demand of injured neurons; increased blood circulation intensity in spinal cord and spinal roots zone.
