FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in the intervertebral space, a microradiator device is installed, made in the form of a spiral, rigidly connected to the ventral plate, which is fixed to adjacent vertebrae so that the spiral contacts the dura mater. The ends of the spiral are connected to cold mains, which are taken out through separate mini-incisions outwards and connected to a pump with a refrigerant tank. The circulation process of refrigerant cooled to 3-5 degrees is carried out in a closed loop. The temperature in the microradiator is monitored by means of a temperature sensor located in the outflow main, after termination of hypothermia, the cold mains are disconnected from the microradiator.
EFFECT: provides prevention and treatment of the spinal cord swelling, as well as reliable stabilisation.
