SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw conveyor designed and made for use in decanter centrifuge for separating hard particles from fluid medium. Proposed decanter centrifuge contains rotor with mixture input, hard particles output and output for liquid cleaned from hard particles. Rotor is made for rotation around axis R at first speed. Screw conveyor arranged in rotor is made for rotation around axis R at second speed differing from first speed. Screw conveyor has central housing passing along axis R. device contains at least one helical line of conveyor passing like helical thread along central housing and around the housing and resting on the housing so that flow passage is formed around housing. Moreover, device includes at least one partition which cross path of flow between different parts of helical line of conveyor to preclude free travel of liquid and hard particles along flow path to output of hard particles, and two initially separated parts. Each of said parts has section of helical line of conveyor, and both parts are held axially together. Partition forms separate member held between parts of screw conveyor when they are held together in axial direction.
EFFECT: improved reliability of construction, facilitated assembling.
