FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of novel high-energetic (co)polymers with the enhanced content of nitrogen that can be used in practice as gas generator and a power-consuming binding component of solid jet fuel. Method involves addition of triethylamine to a 5-chloromethyltetrazole solution or to solution of mixture of 5-chloromethyltetrazole with poly-5-vinyltetrazole in dimethylformamide in an equimolar ratio to 5-chloromethyltetrazole followed by heating the mixture at temperature 50-60°C for 0.5-7 h. Method involves using solution of 5-chloromethyltetrazole in dimethylformamide or solution of 5-chloromethyltetrazole in dimethylformamide wherein poly-5-vinyltetrazole is dissolved preliminary in the amount 10% of 5-chloromethyltetrazole mass. Method is simple in performing, provides preparing high-energetic products with the enhanced nitrogen content (up to 68%) easily and relatively rapidly, and these products are stable in contact with air and safety in handling.
