SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to cast iron compositions that can be used, for example, to manufacture mill rolls, pump parts and other products. Cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 2.3–3.4; silicon 0.8–1.2; manganese 2.0–3.0; chromium 20.0–24.0; boron 0.3–0.4; zirconium 0.05–0.1; nickel 1.0–1.4; silver 0,05–0,1; copper 1.0–1.4; iron – the balance.
EFFECT: technical result is high cast iron durability.
