FIELD: reinforcing member production technology, particularly to manufacture rods used as tie members in filler strictures, cast-in-place and composite building structures, as well as building construction members and separate rods for motor road and road base reinforcing.

SUBSTANCE: production line comprises anchor forming device made as transversal winding means, which winds thread about rod to be formed and is provided with laying means with tension control. The winding device is installed downstream of transversal whapping device. Production line also has counting-and-measuring device provided with sensor system adapted to determine time of anchoring hook forming device, feeding mechanism and wrapping device speed change times. The device may be arranged in the beginning of technological line, for instance upstream of heating chamber. Control device comprises control unit, which controls anchor hook forming operation and is provided with programs and sensor system. Said sensor system cooperates with wrapping device, feeding mechanism and transversal winding means to provide simultaneous reduction or increase of transversal winding or feeding speed during anchor forming device activation or deactivation, as well as feeding and winding speed in dependence of said parameters: anchor length, diameter and shape, within time of anchor parts having predetermined profile forming. Anchor forming device has impregnating means, which impregnates threads with polymeric binding substance.

EFFECT: increased load-bearing ability of the rod and extended service life, possibility to produce rod having any configuration in one technological cycle by thread winding method without the use of embedded members or processing flow change, provision of anchoring hooks made as conical or other widened parts.
