FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of rods from composites to be used as binding elements in wall-type guarding structures, single-piece reinforced concrete and prefabricated structures, reinforcement of highways, etc. Invention aims at increasing the efficiency of rod production. Claimed composite rod is made of roving of mineral or chemical fibre secured by hardened polymer binder and comprises load-bearing ply with lengthwise arrangement of fibres and at least one ply with crosswise arrangement of fibres. Said fibres are secured by binder with polymer matrix modified by carbon-black at the ratio of 0.001-10% of polymer matrix bulk. Note here that said lengthwise and crosswise fibres are modified in polymer matrix by ultrasound.
EFFECT: proposed is the rod fabrication process.
