FIELD: measuring equipment engineering, namely, measurement of electro-physical parameters of solar power elements on basis of application of devices which make it possible to imitate real solar radiation with artificial light sources.

SUBSTANCE: claimed solar radiation simulator for measuring parameters of solar power elements includes impulse lighting device, measuring device controlled by computer, illumination indicator. Measuring device includes converter of capacity of solar element under examination, coupled in combination with illumination sensor to reverse connection system. Additionally a closed box with reflective walls on basis of aluminum foil may be used in lighting device.

EFFECT: increased precision and increased reliability when measuring volt-ampere characteristics of solar power elements.
