FIELD: agriculture, in particular, processes for presowing treatment of wheat seeds.
SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing wheat seeds to ultraviolet radiation; treating seed surface with infusion produced from 5-6 l of water, 1.5-2 kg of ground pine fir-needles, and 200-300 g of poplar buds, said components being infused during 1-2 days; adding gluing substance into infusion; slightly drying treated seeds with air having temperature of 30-35 C. Presowing treatment is carried out 3-5 days before seeding operation. Subjected to presowing treatment procedure are seed batches having reduced sowing qualities and corn seeds infected with saprophytic microscopic flora to the extent of at least 15%. Method allows additional 2-3 hundred kilograms of wheat grain to be produced.
EFFECT: increased field germination rate of infected seeds.
