FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining subcutaneous fat deposit location in patient body, detecting the first skin surface adjacent to the subcutaneous fat deposit, using conductor for creating electric current path to let electric charge, naturally available in patient body, pass through subcutaneous fat deposit and retaining the electric current path for a long time period enough for significant electrically initiated weight reduction. The electric current path runs from the first conductor portion to the second one. A piece of cloth usable for reducing patient body weight has the first conductor adapted for placing it in direct contact with the first patient skin surface and for conducting ion flow naturally available in patient body. The first conductor is fitted for being close to subcutaneous fat deposit. The first conductor has the first part of flexible current-conducting material.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in reducing body weight.
