FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly gate-like fire-extinguishing device permitting vehicle passage in room.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises gates including two parallel leafs of high-fusing metal. Outer gate leaf surfaces are covered with heat-resistant coating and are placed in shell made of heat-resistant reinforced material. Radiator for heat removal from inner leaf is also provided. As fire occurs in room to be protected fire is automatically extinguished without gate opening due to leaf arranging one after another so that the leafs are spaced predetermined distance apart and sealed space is created in-between. The space is filled with high-pressure flame-retardant composition. Inner leaf facing room to be protected has nozzles closed with fusible material to supply fire-extinguishing material to the room as temperature increases up to fusible material melting temperature. Outer leaf has valve for said sealed space filling with flame-retardant composition.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fire protection.
