FIELD: ceramic industry; construction materials industry; other industries; methods and the molds for manufacture of the workpieces of the high-voltage ceramic insulators.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of production of the ceramic articles of the complex configuration by the method of the isostatic pressure in the molds, in particular, to production of the workpieces for manufacture of the high-voltage ceramic insulators. The technical result of the invention consists in provision of the uniform pressure on the molding powder concluded in the die at manufacture of the ceramic workpiece with the ratio of the minimum and maximum diameters being within the range from 1.5 up to 2.7 at the uniform distribution of the molding pressure and the pressing-out excluding defects precipitation: cavities, shells, cracks, chips. The mold for manufacture by the method of the isostatic molding of the workpiece of the ceramic, it is preferential porcelain, high-voltage insulator made in the form of the body of revolution contains the cylindrical body with the butt covers forming in its cavity the hydraulic high-pressure chamber, connected with the source of pressure. In the high-pressure chamber hermetically along the perimeter of its butts there is the hollow die cut into the symmetrical parts along generatrices, which in parallel to its axis and with the profiled internal surface in the form of the alternating along the die axis shape-forming annular protrusions and cavities with the ratio of their diameters within the range of 1.5 up to 2.7 and with the tip cylindrical parts, which length exceeds the maximum diameter of the molding parts. At that the detachable parts of the die along the surfaces of their split are connected among themselves hermetically and with the capability of the uniform transmission of pressure on the substance in its cavity for molding the workpiece. The method of manufacture of the workpiece of the high-voltage ceramic insulator by the isostatic pressure is exercised in the mentioned above mold. At that in the internal cavity of the collected from built-up parts of the die with the affixed base cap fall the molding powder of porcelain mass with the humidity of 0.5-2.5 %, filling in at the simultaneous vibration the whole its internal space. Then close the upper cover with sealing of the joint, create in the hydraulic chamber of the body pressure and keep the die under this pressure during time required for creation of the necessary tightness and the configuration of the workpiece till reaching the porosity of the workpiece of 20.0-36.0 %. At that the pressure variation in the working volume of the hydraulic chamber is exercised at meeting the condition of the flowability of the present in the molding powder air and consolidation of the air in the volume of the residual pores of the workpiece with provision of the equilibrium by the pressurized in it air of the external pressure of the molding. After that the pressure in the chamber of the body is reduced in compliance with modes ensuring conservation of the integrity of the workpiece; they remove the covers and open the detachable part of the die or the die and the body and extract the produced workpiece.
EFFECT: invention ensures the uniform pressure on the molding powder concluded in the die at manufacture of the ceramic workpiece with the ratio of the minimum and maximum diameters being about from one and up to two point seven half at the uniform distribution of the molding pressure and the pressing-out excluding defects precipitation: cavities, shells, cracks, chips.
