SUBSTANCE: invention relates to authenticating and tracking of the history of ownership of individually defined textile products. The software is introduced, during verification, with information about the original owner of an individually defined textile product, about all or some of the subsequent owners of an individually defined textile product; in this method, each owner of an individually defined textile product is granted the right to enter information about itself in the chain of owners or remain anonymous; the photograph of the tag entered into the software when registering an individually defined textile product is converted into a non-interchangeable token, whereas the tag is either of natural origin and represents an already existing defect in the surface of the product, or the tag is artificially created by applying it to the product in a way that excludes its removal from the object, while the artificially created tag is applied by the owner of an individually defined textile product using a dye or high-temperature exposure and comprises only geometric figures of irregular shape, in which there are no straight lines, circles, squares, equilateral polygons and other regular shapes, and the tags are compared by comparing the photo of the read tag and the images of the tag contained in the software database.
