FIELD: chemical industry; other industries; methods of the production of the microgranulated sodium carbonate.

SUBSTANCE: the invention may be used in the chemical industry for production of the microgranulated sodium carbonate. The method of the direct production of the microgranulated sodium carbonate in the mode of the boiling layer includes the vapor-phase carbonization of 32-50 mass % of the sodium hydroxide solution at the temperature of 140-190°С by the stream of the flue-gases containing carbon dioxide. The process of production of sodium carbonate is conducted at the speed of the flue-gases in the boiling layer of 2.4-2.9 m/s with feeding on the formed in the layer microgranules of 38-45 mass % of the suspension of the sodium carbonate. The suspension of the sodium carbonate is produced by the evaporation at the expense of the heat of the effluent gases and the additional dissolution of the dust fractions brought out of the device of the boiling layer. The produced sodium carbonate is exposed to crystallization, granulation and dehydration. The invention allows to produce the microgranulated sodium carbonate of the homogeneous granulometric composition with the packed density of 1.1-1.2 kg/dm3 and the minimum remaining content of the water.

EFFECT: the invention allows to produce the microgranulated sodium carbonate of the homogeneous granulometric composition with the packed density over 1 kg/dm3 and the minimum remaining content of the water.
