FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at improving design of fishplates and it can be used in devices with rolling guides. Proposed fishplate for rails has upper and lower heads and neck with holes for bolt joints. Fishplate is made curvilinear along longitudinal axis, for instance, in form of sector of circular ring with values of curvature within the limits of flexible deformation sufficient to provide contact of fishplate heads with necks, heads and feet of rails under load from bolt joints. Holes for bolt bodies are made oval, with larger axis along longitudinal axis of fishplate, and holes at rail butt joints communicate through slot.
EFFECT: reduced dynamic loads in rail fishplates, increased operation reliability of rail track.
