FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail bonds which can be used in rail electric transport, mainly, railway transport, for isolating track circuits in signaling and communication systems in all regions of RF. Proposed two-head fishplate of rail bond is made of metal. Said fishplate has straight-line profiles of heads with grade exceeding 1:4 for inner profile of upper head and outer profile of lower head and less than 1:4 for outer profile of upper head and inner profile of lower head. Straight-line section of profile of upper head pointed to rail web deflects from vertical plane to side of outer profile through angle of 3-4°. Section of profile of lower head mated with outer straight-line section of lower head is described by circumference of radius of 19-21 mm. Section or profile adjoining rail fillet and mating with straight-line sections is described by circumference of radius of 9-10 mm, radius of mating of inner straight-line sections of profile with its vertical section is 9-11 mm, and radius of their mating with sections of profile of heads pointed to rail web is 7-9 mm. Cross size of fishplate is 38-423 mm. Insulating gasket of bond is made of polyamide-based material, being made wavy in middle part. Sections adjoining web and foot of rail are 4.5-5.5 mm thick. Section with wavy profile is 2.5-3.5 mm thick section adjoining upper head of rail, including rail fillet, is 6-8 mm thick. Sections of gasket differing in thickness are smoothly mated.

EFFECT: increased wear resistance of bond, increased service life and provision of reliability in service.
