FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.
SUBSTANCE: proposed two-head fishplate of rail bond is made of metal. Straight-line profiles of walls of fishplate interacting with head and foot of rail have inclination not exceeding 1:4. In proposed fishplate, section of profile of upper head pointed to neck of rail is deflected from vertical plane to side of upper wall through angle of 3-4°. Section of profile adjoining rail fillet and conjugating with straight-line sections of profile is described by circle with radius of 11-12 mm, and section of profile of lower head pointed to neck of rail is described by circle with radius of 19-21 mm. Invention provides change of shape of wedge fishplate making it possible to bring conditions of its operation in rail bond to conditions of operation of hinge fishplate.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance both of electric insulation on surface of fishplate and bond proper.
