FIELD: weight measurement technology; determination of aircraft takeoff weight and CG position.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mounting pressure sensors on each cylinder of shock-absorbing leg of landing gear and measuring the changing pressure of gas inside cylinders in the course of taxiing the aircraft over irregularities of airfield surface. Gas pressure is calculated on basis of averaging the change of gas pressure inside cylinders of landing gear shock-absorbing legs, aircraft weight and CG position. Magnitudes of gas pressure inside cylinders of shock-absorbing legs are averaged in synchronism during period of time equal to several tens of seconds.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure of determination of aircraft weight and CG position; low cost of process.
