FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weight measurement equipment and can be used for preflight determination of mass and position of center of gravity of aircraft. Proposed device comprises cargo platform, weighing device interacting with cargo platform end and fixed foundation support to interact with pivotally mounted (vertically rotatable) the other end of the loading platform. Method is implemented by the described weighing device in two versions. According to the first version, the loaded aircraft is rolled onto the cargo platform so that the axis of the selected base frame is aligned with the axis of the fixed foundation support, this first position is fixed and the first reading of the weight measuring device is taken off. Then the aircraft is moved along the cargo platform to an arbitrary distance, this second position is fixed and the second reading is taken from the weight measuring device. After that, mass and centering of aircraft are calculated by calculation using formulas. According to the second version, the method differs from the first version in that the coordinate of the center of gravity is determined by a simple measurement of the movement of the aircraft.
EFFECT: development of light weight device allowing to determine take-off weight and take-off centering of loaded aircraft, as well as method of determining actual values of take-off mass and take-off centering by calculation.
