FIBER-OPTIC SCANNING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC G02B26/10 A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2319184 C1

FIELD: fiber-optic scanning devices.

SUBSTANCE: fiber-optic scanning device contains stationary section, moving section, lens system and a supply of control current. The stationary section contains support element and magnetic system, which contains at least one constant magnet, and the moving section includes first current conductor installed with possible movement and an optical fiber rigidly engaged with it, which is fastened in supporting element with possible movement of distal part of the optical fiber. End surface of the optical fiber is optically engaged with lens system, and first current conductor is connected to control current supply. Second current conductor, rigidly engaged with first current conductor and aforementioned optical fiber, and connected to its own supply of control current, is inserted into moving section of the device. Each current conductor is made in form of at least one coil of wire. A part of first current conductor and a part of second current conductor, which are parallel to the optical fiber axis, are positioned relatively to magnetic system in such a way, that direction of magnetic system field is approximately perpendicular to the part of first and the part of second current conductors, where direction of the field of the magnetic system in place of positioning of aforementioned part of the first current conductor is approximately perpendicular to direction of the field in place of positioning of the part of the second current conductor.

EFFECT: increased efficiency.
