FIELD: retro-reflecting signs with internal brightening.
SUBSTANCE: sign has information display section, lighter and case. Retro-reflecting member used in mentioned display section, has to be prism-shaped retro-reflecting member according to effect of total internal reflection. Information display section has at least one flat or curved surface, reflecting light, which light comes from face side of sign and which let light go on the inside of sign. Multiplicity of prism-shaped reflecting members is disposed in close contact one against others to form continuous retro-reflecting plane. Multiplicity of retro-reflecting members des not have area to be connected with other layers. Lighter is placed behind information display section.
EFFECT: improved visibility of sign at any time of day.
