FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: 18-multiple pulsation frequency dc supply intends for conversing ac voltage to dc voltage for feeding thrust loads of electric transport and electric engineering assemblies working on direct current. Supply has three sources of three-phase emf systems. Like vectors of voltage of the sources are sequent shifted in phase for twenty electric degrees. Supply also has 27 rectifiers which form two six-rectifier stars - one anode and the other one cathode - and two six-rectifier rings; rectifiers in the ring are connected by like electrodes only. Points of connection of anodes of rectifier couples of one ring are connected with points of connection of cathodes of corresponding couples of rectifiers of second ring. Any formed unit is connected with anodes of corresponding rectifiers of cathode star and cathodes of corresponding rectifiers of anode star as well as outputs of phases of supply of first symmetric three-phase emf. Points of connection of anodes, being out of operation, of couples of rectifiers of one ring are connected with cathodes of corresponding rectifiers of anode star and phase outputs of supply of second three-phase emf system. Vectors of voltage of the latter are ahead of like vectors of voltage of first emf system for twenty electric degrees. Anodes of rectifiers, which have cathodes connected with non-involved points of connection of cathodes of corresponding couples of rectifiers of other six-rectifier ring are also connected together. Outputs of phases of supply of third three-phase emf system are connected as well to those points. Those vectors are behind like vectors of voltages of first emf system for 20 electric degrees. Anodes of corresponding rectifiers of cathode star are also connected to non-involved points of connection. Common point of connection of rectifiers of anode star forms single output terminal of device. Common point of connection of cathode star forms one more output terminal of device.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation; simplified design.
