FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in combination fuel feed system of diesel engine providing delivery of mixture of diesel fuel and liquefied gas, for instance, dimethyl ether, into diesel engine. Proposed system contains in-line type high-pressure fuel pump with plunger pairs and delivery valves with variable discharge volume, nozzle provided with drain space to inject diesel fuel or mixture of diesel fuel and liquefied gas into combustion chamber of engine, high-pressure pipeline whose input is connected to output of pumping element, and output, to nozzle high-pressure union, distributing device with input and outputs for liquefied gas, reed valve to deliver liquefied gas into pipeline, pipeline to deliver liquefied gas from bottle to input of distributing device, and pipeline to deliver liquefied gas from device output to valve input. Drain space of nozzle is connected to device between its input and outputs and also to intake manifold of engine through safety valve. Device is furnished with ball intake and reed outlet check valves installed at its input and outputs.
EFFECT: provision of combination fuel feed system of simple design ensuring reliable delivery of mixture of diesel fuel and liquefied gas without impairing main operating characteristics of engine at improvement of its ecological characteristics.
