FIELD: mechanical engineering; fans.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air circulation device with large diameter fan provided with increased strength blades with narrowing profile of aerodynamic surface. Blades of fan can be formed by extrusion molding. Each fan blade can contain reinforced trailing edge with flange pointed downwards. Proposed fan blade with reinforced trailing edge provide improved design characteristics. Trailing edge of each blade of fan be made with increased length to improved aerodynamic characteristics. Moreover, reinforced trailing edge ensure against teat off in process of extrusion owing to additional of bending zone with flanged edge to at least one far end of trailing edge. For instance, bent part of trailing edge shows tendency for easy provision of rigid orientation of extruded material in stable position in process of molding. Moreover, bent part provides additional strength owing to supporting forces acting in two directions which are relatively parallel and perpendicular to its length to neutralize negative effects caused by action of pressure forces onto trailing edge of fan blade in process of extrusion.
EFFECT: improved design characteristics of fan blades.
