FIELD: invention refers to measuring and converting technique and is assigned for automated measurement and control of the level of liquid mediums in closed reservoirs.
SUBSTANCE: level gauge is placed in the reservoir R with liquid J. It has a body 1, a core and a tubular sound conductors 2,3 from different on sign magnetostrictional materials loaded with the loading stabilizer 4. Besides the level gauge has a wave reflector 5, two signal electric acoustic converters 6,7, a float element 8 with a constant magnet 9, two limiters of displacement, an amplifier of recording 11, two amplifiers of read-out with automatic adjustment of amplification 12,13, a calculating block 14, an indication block 15 and a control bus 16. The float element 8 with the magnet 9 changes its position relatively to equal sound conductors 2 and 3 at changing the level of liquid in the reservoir. This unequivocally reflects time-impulse coding and resulting digital codes forming with the calculating block 14 and reflected with the indication block 15. The usage of the combined acoustic tract of the level gauge in the primary magnetostrictional converter of the level gauge shape of the equal sound conductors 2,3 loaded with the loading stabilizer 4 with different radiuses allows reduce temperature component of error in measuring of the level and the consumption of liquid with high level of noise immunity.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of conversion of the level of liquid mediums due to increase of noise immunity and expansion of functional possibilities at the expense of calculation of the consumption of the controlled liquid in the closed reservoir.
