FIELD: electric engineering, linear motors, may be used in driving coordinate systems.
SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic linear motor includes synchronous motor which contains stator and rotor, on one of which at least one coil is positioned, and on other one constant magnets are positioned. At least two Hall sensors of the system for controlling and monitoring the rotor are positioned along longitudinal axis of motor and connected to system for controlling and managing the rotor, which is mounted with possible movement relatively to the stator in direction of its longitudinal axis. Magnets are mounted on the stator, oriented to face each other with poles of the same name and constitute two groups of alternating pairs of magnets. In first group in each pair magnets are installed with identical step between each other, and in second group - with monotonously increasing step. Second magnet in first pair with constant step is the first magnet of each pair with monotonously increasing step. Second magnet in a pair with monotonously increasing step is the first magnet in a pair with constant step. Width of constant magnets, constant step of magnet positioning, monotonously increasing step of magnet positioning and its alternation gradient are selected on basis of certain proportions.
EFFECT: reduced laboriousness and manufacturing cost due to determining of coordinate of position of rotor relatively to stator or conditional "zero point" and on basis of that it is possible to avoid using an expensive management system and large number of commutated Hall sensors with increased sensitivity.
