FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used to create motors (generators) with permanent magnets. In an electric machine comprising a stator, a rotor, a switching device in the engine mode and a voltage conversion device in the generator mode, rotor contains a group of Halbach linear arrays, the zones of maximum induction of which are perpendicular or parallel to the plane of motion of the rotor. Outer or inner stator comprises a magnetic core with a winding. Linear version of the electric machine and a variant of the design with two electric machines are possible, the second being the mirror image of the first.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the torque in the engine mode and the output power in the generator mode.
