FIELD: robot-technique, particularly industrial robots and manipulators.
SUBSTANCE: gripper comprises clamping mechanism with pressing jaws and has two thermo-electric batteries. Each thermo-electric battery touches pressing jaw surface by one surface thereof and includes serially alternating branches. The branches are made of p- and n-type semiconductors. Electric connection between branches is in the following way: p-type branch - commutation plate - n-type branch. Commutation plate ends have T-shaped sections and are welded to plates electrically isolated one from another. The plates are made as metal or alloy films connected to ceramic plates.
EFFECT: increased reliability of object fixation in gripper.
