METHOD OF PREVENTING UNAUTHORISED USE OR THEFT OF TRANSPORT VEHICLES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B60R25/00

Abstract RU 2357880 C1

FIELD: security equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of preventing unauthorised use or theft of vehicles. At the stolen vehicle coordinates of safety zone loop are received from a control center and compared with the current vehicle position defined by GPS system. In case of the equivalence a vehicle passage across the safety zone border is fixed. Components of velocity vector and vehicle position in respect to the point of the last GPS measurement are measured with the help of an inertial navigation unit mounted on the vehicle and these data are included in the information messages sent to the control centre from the vehicle in case of no possibility to receive GPS signals on the vehicle. Should there be no possibility to send information messages from the vehicle under cellular network of mobile communication, they are sent under additional reserve channel (provided for at each serviced vehicle) at carrier frequencies differing from the frequencies used in the mobile communication cellular networks. The above information messages are received at other vehicles, the received data are included in the information messages of these vehicles and retranslation of the received information messages is provided for under mobile communication cellular networks to the control centre. Coordinates of safety zone loop are received from the control centre under mobile communication cellular networks at one or more vehicles which have performed the retranslation of the information messages and they are retranslated under the reserve channel to the stolen vehicle board.

EFFECT: improving protection against interference including intentional interference.
