FIELD: industry inorganic synthesis.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of chlorine reusing hydrogen chloride emitted in organochlorine synthesis processes. Chlorine production process comprises continuously supplying gaseous mixture containing hydrogen chloride and oxygen to flow reaction zone wherein hydrogen chloride is oxidized by oxygen to form target product. Gaseous mixture is fed at pressure 1.1 to 5.0 bar and transferred into low-temperature plasma state with the aid of pulse electric discharge in order to initiate above oxidation reaction. Resulting gaseous mixture containing oxidation product is withdrawn from reaction zone and subjected to condensation, after which desired product is recovered from condensed water.
EFFECT: increased degree of hydrogen mixture conversion and process stability.
