FIELD: carbon materials.
SUBSTANCE: synthesis is accomplished in plasma at atmospheric pressure in helium flow. Electrodes are powered in combination with direct current up to 1000 A and alternate current within kilohertz frequency range from 40 to 440 kHz. One vertical electrode and even number of identical horizontal electrodes are used.
EFFECT: increased synthesis rate, reduced fullerene-containing mix cost, and lowered production loss.
