FIELD: agriculture, in particular, prediction of accumulation of lead in peas.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determining content in soil of mobile lead extracted by acetate-ammonium buffer solution with pH=4.8; calculating lead accumulation in grain and straw of peas from formulas: Pg=0.301+0.0498√Pmls, R=0.99, Ps=1.788+0.141Pmls, -0.0009Pmls2, R=0.99, where Pg is lead content in peas grain at 14% moisture content, mg/kg; Ps is lead content in peas straw at 16% moisture content, mg/kg; Pmls is mobile lead content in soil of from 0.7 to 75 mg/kg; R is correlation coefficient.

EFFECT: increased precision in predicting accumulation of lead in peas on the basis of data referring to content of mobile lead in plow soil layer.
