METHOD FOR PREDICTING HUMAN ORTHOSTATIC INSUFFICIENCY CASES Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2321334 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves identifying somatotype. Patient is tested using Kettel factor personality questionnaire according to 10-graded sthene scale C, H, O, Q3 and Q4. Factor C values combinations being equal to or less than 6 sthenes, those of factor H equal to or less than 7 sthenes, those of factor O being equal to or greater than 4 sthenes, those of factor Q3 being equal to or less than 7 sthenes, those of factor Q4 being equal to or greater than 4 sthenes in persons of normosthenic and asthenic somatotype, orthostatic insufficiency is to be predicted. Any other factor values and somatotype combinations being the case, no orthostatic insufficiency is to be predicted. Orthostatic insufficiency or orthostatic stability is to be predicted in diabetes insipidus patients under condition of regular consumption of synthetic analogs of anti-diuretic hormone.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of interactive orthostatic insufficiency prediction.
