FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying apparatus having base support member, setting and fixing fracture. Two threaded rods are introduced into lower crus one-third or distal epiphysis of tibia. One of the rods is fixed on the base support member and the other one on anterior half-ring of closed ring-shaped frame having two half-rings connected to each other with threaded bars mounted in vertical carriers. The base support member and closed ring-shaped frame are connected to each other with threaded bars one of which is vertical and the other is horizontal and mounted on vertical hinges. Wire is brought through I-II metatarsal bone base in frontal plane and fixed on vertical half-ring fixed with brackets on the anterior half-ring of the closed ring-shaped frame. Wire is brought through anterior calcaneus portion and fixed in long carriers of the anterior half-ring. Two crossed wires are brought through posterior calcaneus portion and fixed on the anterior half-ring mounted under the closed ring-shaped frame. Two hinges having threaded bars are fixed between crossed wires fasteners and then they are fixed on posterior half-ring of the closed ring-shaped frame. One more hinge is mounted on threaded bar in middle part of the half-ring having crossed wires, and limiting nut is mounted thereon. Free end of the bar is introduced into opposite opening on the posterior half-ring of the closed ring-shaped frame, and the second limiting nut is set. Limiting nut positions are selected on axially movable bar so that half-ring rotation about hinges, fixed between crossed wires fasteners, is allowed together with the bar having hinge. 1 cm long notches are made the places where skin stretches near two reposition wires to prevent necrosis, and sutures are placed.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in eliminating angular displacement and displacement along calcaneus fracture length in one-stage operation.
