FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with applying antibacterial preparations, expectorants and antiphlogistic phytopreparations. Moreover, as antibacterial preparation one should apply Zimun 4.24 intramuscularly, at the dosage of 0.07-0.14 ml/kg live weight once daily for the period of 5-6 d, and as expectorant and antiphlogistic preparation - Mucaltinum internally, at the dosage of about 100-150 mg/animal twice daily. As vitamins it is necessary to apply ascorbic acid internally per 5-6 g/animal during the 1^st d of therapy. As analeptic 10%-sulfocamfocaine should be applied at the dosage of 2-4 ml twice daily. The innovation excludes the application of antibacterial chemotherapeutic preparations, stimulates body weight gain in animals, normalizes respiratory function of blood, protein metabolism and inspecific resistance in calves.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
