SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, namely to immunology and infectology, and is intended to increase colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in newborn calves. The method for increasing colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in calves includes the administration of the drug Ribotan to pregnant cows before calving in a dose of 5 ml per animal, while the drug Ribotan is administered to pregnant cows 3-9 days before calving intramuscularly and once.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase immunoreactivity in pregnant cows during a period as close to the calving as possible, increase colostral immunity, increase the safety of newborn calves, and also reduce their morbidity.
