FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, namely immunology, and is intended to increase colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in newborn calves. To increase colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in calves, an aqueous solution of the drug “Sodium nucleinate 0.2%” is injected into pregnant cows 3-9 days before calving at a dose of 5 ml per animal intramuscularly and once.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase immunoreactivity in pregnant cows during the period as close as possible to delivery, to form a more intense colostral immunity, to increase the safety of newborn calves and reduce their morbidity.
