FIELD: purification and mineralization of tap water or natural water, may be used in ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using apparatus consisting of two rectangular reservoirs, namely, upper and lower reservoirs made from biologically inert material such as transparent food plastic or food glass, with purification and mineralization of tap water or natural water being provided in upper reservoir, and settling of filtered water - in lower reservoir; providing filtering in upper reservoir through charge containing four layers of sorption materials separated by layers of porous material such as sintepon and partition walls of reservoir provided with apertures, on which layers there are four layers of sorption materials arranged from the bottom up to the top: on lower partition wall there is layer of sintepon and sorbent in an amount of 1,000 g at sorbent and water weight ratio of 1:5, on intermediate partition wall there is layer of sintepon and 0.5-1 cm3 sized black silicon pebbles in an amount of 500 g, on upper partition wall - layer of sintepon and activated birch coal in an amount of 50 g at coal and water weight ratio of 1:100; placing sintepon and schungite in an amount of 500 g at schungite and water ratio of 1:10; feeding and discharging water downward through openings provided in cover and upper reservoir bottom at flow rate of 250 ml/min. Upper reservoir bottom is made convex and has convexity thickness of 3 cm, said convexity being provided with central 2.5 mm sized water drain opening. Filtered water is then settled in lower reservoir with black 0.5-1 cm3 sized silica pebbles placed on its bottom in an amount of 7-10 g per 1 l of water. Filtered water is saturated in lower reservoir with silicic acid anhydride until value of 6.5-7 mg/l is attained. Water is fed into lower reservoir through 3 cm sized opening formed in cover, and is drained through 3 cm sized opening arranged at a distance of 5 cm from bottom.
EFFECT: provision for producing silicic water of controllable composition to be used for obtaining of eye drops.
