FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in the field conditions for drinking water preparation. Proposed unit comprises vertical tank with feed and discharge branch pipes, horizontal filtration units with their layers separated by screens. Filtration unit consists of carbon, cation- and anion-exchange fibers and is integrated with sorption-ion-exchange pack arranged at precipitation chamber outlet. Aforesaid tank comprises top, central and bottom webs with water passages. Water passages in bottom and top webs are arranged all along their edges while in central web they are made at its center. Sprayer is arranged in precipitation chamber above the layer of quartz sand.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency.
