FIELD: chemical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: field of invention are apparatuses for carrying out catalytic processes in fixed catalyst bed Inside cylindrical case provided with inlet fitting, reciprocal flange, catalyst-supply and -discharge fittings, and reaction products-discharge fitting, there is central perforated tube installed provided with stepped flow velocity suppressor, one end of said central perforated tube being closed and the other is provided with feed-supply connecting pipe. Perforated grooves (along generatrices) and collectors are also installed. Central perforated tube has slit screen and means to create blind joint with feed-supply connecting pipe. Slit screen is made in the form of cylindrical casing coaxially installed on exit tube, said casing being made from triangular-section rods. Value of slit spacing between rods represents 30 to 80% of the minimum catalyst value. Blind joint means is made as inclined guides of feed-supply connecting pipe welded to exit tube end. Between feed-supply connecting pipe and central perforated tube, annular space filled with cord and fit ring is created, said fit ring interacting with axial force creation means to tight and seal joint between central perforated tube and feed-supply connecting pipe.

EFFECT: increased reliability of operation of reactor, prolonged its service time, and reduced operational expenses on maintenance and repair operation.
