FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal equipment for carrying out catalytic processes in fixed catalyst bed for use in petrochemical and petroleum processing industries. Central tube comprises feed-supply part with open end and working part having closed end and stepped flow velocity suppressor constructed in the form of coaxially installed internal and exit tubes having perforation area constituting at least 20% of surface and provided with slit screen. The latter is made as cylindrical casing coaxially installed on exit tube of cylindrical casing, which is made from longitudinal triangular-section rods with their ends oriented inward Value of slit spacing between rods represents 30 to 80% of the minimum catalyst value and total area of screen slits exceeds area of exit tube perforations.
EFFECT: additionally reduced velocity and more uniform distribution of feed entering catalyst improving thereby efficiency of using catalyst and excluded getting catalyst into central tube space so improving reactor operation conditions.
