FIELD: polyetherketone ketones production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing polyetherketone ketones (PEKK). The proposed method for obtaining PEKK includes a) mixing at least one bifunctional aromatic acyl chloride with at least one bis(phenoxybenzoyl)benzene as monomers in 1,2-dichloroethane (DCE) to obtain a reaction solution, where the molar concentrations of the selected monomers in DCE are equal to and range from 0.3 to 0.7 mol/l; b) adding a Lewis acid as a catalyst to the reaction solution, where the catalyst is added at -15 to 0°C to obtain a reaction mixture; c) providing the reaction temperature from 10 to 45°C by mixing DCE and the reaction mixture formed in step b), where the molar concentrations of selected monomers in DCE are equal and range from 0.05 to 0.2 mol/l, to obtain a complex PEKK-Lewis acid; and d) isolating the solid PEKK by deactivating the PEKK-Lewis acid complex formed in step c).

EFFECT: improving the manufacturability of the process for obtaining PEKK by reducing the total duration of the process, eliminating high-boiling solvents and reducing the environmental load, which results in PEKK, the intrinsic viscosity of the solution of which in concentrated sulfuric acid is from 0.25 to 1.7 dl/g.
