FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to stainless steels applied in the details of immersion equipment working in aggressive media under the impact of static and dynamic loadings. The suggested steel contains carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium, nickel, copper, niobium, nitrogen, at least, one out of the following components, aluminum, titanium and, also, iron and accompanying admixtures at the following ratio of the components mentioned, weight%: carbon 0.01-0.05; manganese 0.3-1.8; silicon up to 0.8; chromium 14.0-17.0; nickel 3.5-5.0; copper 1.5-3.5; niobium 0.01-0.8; nitrogen 0.01-0.07, at least, one out of aluminum and titanium 0.01-1.0, iron and accompanying admixtures - the rest. The innovation enables to increase mechanic properties and corrosion resistance.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
