FIELD: microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to study and analysis of biological objects by optical methods. Proposed method involves effect on samples containing different antibacterial preparations by laser radiation followed by recording the fluorescence intensity of samples in different time intervals. In the same time intervals samples no containing antibacterial preparations are subjected for effect of laser radiation also and the fluorescence intensity of samples is measured without antibacterial preparation. Then method involves comparison of the fluorescence intensity of samples with antibacterial preparations normalized for the corresponding fluorescence intensity of samples without antibacterial preparations. In decreasing the normalized fluorescence intensity of samples with antibacterial preparations by a definite value the inhibitory effect of antibacterial preparations on microorganisms is determined. For excluding effect of amplitude factors on assay results method involves additional laser irradiation on a key sample and its fluorescence intensity is measured. Then fluorescence intensity of sample values is normalized without antibacterial preparations for the fluorescence intensity value of a key sample. Proposed method provides enhancing precision and reliability of the method for assay of sensitivity of microorganisms to antibacterial preparations.
