FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry. The method consists that estimation of quality of endodontic therapy is ensured by the laser fluorescent diagnostic technique that involves reading fluorescence indicators of immune zones of a tooth (F1) and tooth canal (Fn) where n is a number of a following fluorescence measurement before treatment with antimicrobic preparations, then Fn+1 is recorded thereafter. If after treatment of the root canal by the n+1-th measurement, a coefficient K=Fn+1/F1 works for one, antimicrobic treatment is considered to be qualitative and endodontic therapy is terminated with sealing the tooth is filled. However if by the (n+1)-th measurement, said coefficient K=Fn+1/F1 does not work for one, treatment is considered as low-quality, the cavity and the tooth canal is treated with detergents and if fluorescence increases with respect to the control, that confirms microbes observed, and antimicrobic treatment is performed till the termination of fluorescence growth, and then treatment is considered as qualitative, and endodontic therapy is terminated, and the tooth is filled. Besides if the teeth is observed to have a curvature of the root and/or tooth canal, the stages of their mechanical and medicinal treatment involve recording fluorescence of dentinal dust, and if Fn+1≤F1, i.e. the rated index K=Fn+1/F1≤1, therapy is terminated, the tooth is filled; and if Fn+1>F1, i.e. the rated index K=Fn+1/F1>1, therapy is prolonged.
EFFECT: method improves expressivity of estimation, accuracy and objectivity of its results, and also ensures prevention and higher effectiveness of the following therapy of caries complications, allows standardising time and quantity of the indicators required for qualitative mechanical and medicinal treatment of the root canals due to double and, for teeth with bent root, triple control of clinical effectiveness.
