SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, expansion routes, based on a service, or transport tunnels, include services, projected onto a route or assigned to a route which is associated with a transport tunnel. Exchange in echo-messages ensures OAM capabilities for monitoring related to working status of expansion route, based on service, including detection of configuration, capacity for connection and other characteristics of route of associated services which transmit data. OAM functions, represented by exchange of echo-messages make the OAM functions possible independently from amount of services in base network, a route or a set of routes.
EFFECT: simplified operation, management and maintenance of services used for transmission of data through a network.
