FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with forming a wound of soft tissues being of 3.9-4.1 cm size in mature rabbits of about 3-4 kg body weight due to applying a plate onto their backs at internal diameter of ring being of 2.0 cm. The hide should be stretched under general anesthesia as a cone at 0.9-1.1 cm height to be dissected. Then it is necessary to form the focus of necrosis due to applying a gauze tampon impregnated in 70%-acetic acid solution for about 3-5 sec. In 3-5 d the necrotic scab should be removed. Then the wound should be irrigated with St. Aureus culture at concentration being 5×105 CFU. The innovation provides adequate reproduction of the model of bacterially contaminated wound of soft tissues without abscess development.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of modeling.
