FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brakes of rail vehicles, mainly, to devices to control pressure in brake cylinder of rail train depending on load of car. Device contains damper part, pressure relay pneumatically connected with brake cylinder and air distributor, and load take-up mechanism. Used as pressure relay at place of arrangement of load take-up mechanism is device in form of movable piston with spring-loaded valve closing hole in seat on piston housing, and diaphragm installed (secured) between housing of compensating load brake and outer surface of piston and resting, in idle state, on insert made of ribs. Ribs are made in form of smooth curve from side of diaphragm between which ribs in operating condition move symmetrically to ribs of insert. Said ribs are installed on outer surfaces of piston. Part of area of diaphragm rests at movement of piston building force from top counteracting movement of piston. Spring-loaded valve of piston, with piston moving, engages with pusher of load take-up mechanism made in form of lever and elongated ball support acting onto damper rod with pusher.
EFFECT: simplified design of compensating load brake, increased reliability.
